Grading Policy
Final grades will be given based on the quality point scale.

Calculating Final Grades

Final grades will be given based on the quality point scale. To calculate grades for classes that do not require a final exam, add each quarter’s grades quality point for the quarters and divide by four. For classes that require a final exam, double each quality point for the quarter, add a single quality point for the final exam grade, then divide by nine. All courses granting 1.0 high school credit will administer an exam. All high school semester courses granting less than 1.0 credit that include a final exam, at the discretion of the teacher, will have final grades calculated by doubling each quality point for the quarters, add a single quality point for the final exam grade, then divide by five. The grade must be at or above the quality points in order to be earned. No rounding will be applied.
